Our Team

We have a diverse team, with wonderful apprentices and qualified staff who have a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon. Our staff ensure that every child’s experience at Puddleduck Day Nursery will be a magical adventure filled with fun and play, whilst also learning through stimulating and challenging activities to build a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude and love of learning.

Manager
Susan is originally from Bristol and has worked for Puddleduck Day Nursery since April 2018, as Preschool room leader and now as Manager. She has a level 3 in Early Years, a level 3 in Special Educational Needs, an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Performance and a PGCE in Primary Education. In her spare time, Susan enjoys travelling around the country and the world, and hopes to visit every Disney park before she’s 40.

Qualified Staff
Amber is from Portsmouth and has been with the company since September 2018 and completed her level 3 as an apprentice with us in October 2019. She has secured a place at Portsmouth University for September 2022 to study a foundation degree in Early Childhood Development, part time, whilst remaining at Puddleduck Day Nursery; and is working towards becoming a teacher in the future. Amber works in the childcare industry because she is passionate about shaping little minds.

Apprentices
Ayesha is from Portsmouth and has been with the company since April 2021, and is currently studying a level 3 in Early Years. At college Ayesha also completed a level 3 in Health and Social Care. Ayesha enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends and loves working in childcare because it’s rewarding supporting children to learn and develop.
Taylor is from Portsmouth and has been with the company since February 2021, and is about to complete a level 2 in Early Years and wants to carry on to do a level 3. In the future, Taylor aspires to remain in childcare and work her way to management level. She works in childcare because she enjoys spending time with the children, usually dancing and singing around the nursery.
